At LearningRx Fort Collins, our brain training programs help learners of all ages transform the way they learn and think. How Our Brain Training Center Works

To help you or your child strengthen cognitive skills, we’ll design a one-of-a-kind training plan, and we’ll target cognitive skills in one-on-one training sessions. Here’s a closer look at how our training methods work, plus how they differ from other solutions — like tutoring.

Assessment & Personalized Plan

At LearningRx Fort Collins, we help learners excel on their terms.  When we create a personalized training plan, it’s calibrated to each student’s needs and goals. Program length is tailored to each learner, with most programs lasting from two to six months.

To develop a personalized plan, we start with a Brain Skills Assessment. This helps us understand each learner on their terms, focusing on skills they want to improve.

One-on-One Training Sessions

Having a one-on-one brain trainer is similar to having a personal trainer. Like our muscle groups, our minds can quickly improve with the right training program.

One-on-one training is crucial to keeping sessions fun, dynamic, and intense. Each session is filled with games, drills, and other exercises designed to strengthen cognitive skills. 

Our brain trainers are patient and encouraging, helping students stay engaged with training. We’re passionate about helping each learner develop new abilities and tackle new challenges.

Brain Training or Tutoring?

Tutoring can be beneficial when kids have missed out on a class or are struggling with a specific concept. But a tutor won’t improve the cognitive skills needed to retain and apply these concepts.

That’s where brain training can help! Rather than reviewing class material, we teach the skills used to understand the material. Building on these core learning skills does more than help kids with a single class. It helps them approach a whole lifetime of learning with new energy and inspiration.
