I really appreciated how LearningRx was one-on-one interactive, tailored to our needs, and progressed based on my child’s performance. My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. Learning RX’s expertise on the brain and learning has proved that my daughter can read. The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. I had a consultation with LearningRX to assess my memory and logical thinking. The system that LearningRX uses to assess and strengthen your weaknesses is very innovative and I felt like it gave me great insights on how I can improve.
The LearningRx trainers were great at keeping her challenged for enhancement. We were applying for private schools and wanted our daughter to have the strongest skills. There was great improvement with working memory and attention.
When we brought our six year old son to Learning Rx he was in special ed for reading and math. He was spending more time in the principle’s office than in his classroom. He is now in regular class for both reading and math. He has not gone to the principle’s office this school year. When asked why he liked Learning Rx he stated that it helped his brain think like all the other kids. We highly recommend this program. The cost and the time spent is well worth the return.
I highly recommend Learning Rx. My daughter has just completed the program and has made significant gains across the board. As a result of this, my daughter is completing her work in class and is retaining the information that she has read. The entire staff has been welcoming and encouraging to her. After going through the program for three months, my child’s attitude toward school has changed dramatically. He used to be a student whom teachers paid little attention to. Last month, he was named Student of the Month. He is so proud of himself.
This is an awesome program, my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and LearningRx really helped her to improve in her reading and her self-esteem skyrocketed. Chloe’s behavior has gotten better in the classroom and her grades greatly improved. Donesa Walker and her staff are amazing. LearningRx has been incredible for our son. He was struggling in math, memorizing information for tests, and struggling to pay attention in class. He was getting distracted really easily by other students and noises in the classroom and it hindered his ability to stay on task. My son’s confidence has skyrocketed, but more importantly than that it has elevated his level of grit.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
This place is such a gem! North Louisiana is blessed to have such a top notch facility to help children and families overcome any and all learning challenges. My son is enjoying reading for the first time ever! And is not even half way through his program. Donesa is the most wonderful person to work with. And all the trainers are qualified and trained. Such a blessing.

My daughter, Eden, has improved in almost every area possible. Her reading, and willingness to try to sound out things is amazing.
My daughter has more fluency and confidence now when she reads, but most of all, she is reading! She totes several books in her bookbag to and from school to read during down-time at school and at home. Reading is no longer seen as a chore and there is no longer the same struggle we had before starting this program.
Reading level has gone up. I have also noticed a huge improvement in Holden’s vocabulary. He still takes a while to process things but his ability to process thoughts has significantly improved.

As homeschoolers, we were stuck in several areas of her studies and couldn’t figure out what was missing. LearningRx’s program is absolutely amazing and has made such a HUGE impact on our daughters’ life. When our daughter started this program, at 6 years old, she could barely recognize/recall the alphabet or count past 10 and now, at 7 years old, she is able to read 4 letter words and do difficult addition math problems.
