After first grade she had continued to fall behind. School work overwhelmed her and was often brought home to be completed along with her assigned homework. It took her hours to do everything even with help and she was frustrated every evening. Then we had her tested at LearningRx. At the beginning of 5th grade. She has completed the Read program. Her dyslexia always made reading difficult for her, although she loved to be read to and had great comprehension skills when she listened to this story.
Aselin was having a very tough time in school, specifically with math. We went from constant tears over homework that she did not understand, low grades and not wanting to go to school. To now enjoying going to school, completing homework on her own and getting great grades.

Ethan grew a lot over the 6 months with the program at home and more so in school. Ethan started his 6th grade year at a 4th grade level and ended the year right at 6th grade level. This is a huge jump!

LearningRx provided the missing link we would not have been able to get anywhere else, at least to my knowledge. I was a high school English teacher for 13 years, and I know exactly where he would have ended up without LearningRx. It’s impossible to say the impact this program has had on him, but we saw him improve in pretty much all aspects of his life including academics, athletics, and socially.
Our daughter has enjoyed LearningRx and went from struggling to finish assignments to completing them and doing them correctly. She never wanted to read on her own without prompting and now will pick up books by herself to read. She said this is her best school year so far which is a huge change from the previous years. LearningRx has been so awesome and such a blessing for me!…I had never really planned ahead well or been an organizer type of person, but I had done well in school. So we found LearningRx, and in addition to my already recognized struggles, their pre-assessment revealed other areas of weaknesses that needed to be addressed. My focus and concentration have gotten a lot better, and it is harder to be distracted, by myself or others. My working memory and ability to use logic to figure various daily scenarios out has also improved…I would highly recommend LearningRx to others!

Math was always a struggle for her and in the last month, she’s been completing her assignments on her own without asking for help at all (she used to ask for help at least a few times every assignment) and she’s been getting 90+% on every one! Her attitude toward school in general has improved tremendously. She no longer drags her feet when it’s time to work; has a smile on her face instead!

Learning RX has been such an amazing experience for my 7 year old son who most likely has dyslexia. I highly recommend the Atlanta Buckhead location of LearningRX! My child went through the cognitive training LearningRX program this year. LearningRX gives a pre- and post-test in a number of different areas and, relative to the pre-test, my child’s post-test showed tremendous, quantified improvement in almost every category that was part of the program! My child’s tutor, Christen, was amazing – smart, assertive with giving the right amount of push, adaptive, highly communicative, encouraging and dedicated!
A year ago, my daughter was in tears almost every day regarding her math assignments. Now, although she still needs to work at math, there are no tears, and she has an increased level of confidence that she CAN do it.
