Young man goes from struggles in high school to top zoology college LearningRx Personal Brain Training Reviews New Student Success Young man goes from struggles in high school to top zoology college One-on-one brain training company LearningRx is celebrating the incredible success of Vytas, a recent high school graduate and finalist in LearningRx’s national Student of the Year competition celebrating the top brain training results across the country. At age 3, Vytas was diagnosed with Pervasive Development Delay—Not Otherwise Specialized (a mild form of autism). “We had a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist … we were very happy with all the results until we got into the high school years and things just seemed to plateau,” says Vytas’s mother. Although he experienced memory and attention issues and had great difficulty with math, Vytas really wanted to go to college to study zoology. His mother enrolled him in LearningRx personal brain training because she felt that although he was smart and loved learning, there seemed to be a piece missing in his ability to excel in academics. Once Vytas started LearningRx personal brain training, everything changed. “My memory and attention improved … and I started doing math in my head,” says Vytas. His confidence increased and he became an advocate for himself when he needed help from teachers. Vytas, who had previously been “hanging on with Cs,” saw his grades soar. After brain training, his lowest grade was a 94. Vytas was accepted into his top choice college, Colorado State University, which offers one of the best zoology programs in the country.
