Cognitive Skills Trainer

Go beyond tutoring and target and train the root cause of the learning struggle!

Our Brain Trainers work one-on-one with our clients to strengthen the underlying cognitive skills necessary for effective performance in the classroom and life.

Job Summary

• Coaching Mindset- Challenge clients to move outside of their comfort zone, build confidence and a growth mindset.
• Education– Bachelors Degree or currently pursuing
• Hours- Work 10-20 hours per week. This is a part-time position.
• Availability- Minimum of any three work days Monday through Friday 3:30-7:30pm
• Reliable– Must show up on time, you will be working directly with clients.
• Energetic– happy & fun people who are excited about helping others.
• Customer service- You will be interacting face-to-face with parents and students.
• Quick Learner– Must be able to learn new skills quickly, have strong phonetic skills and maintain a positive attitude
• Be Coachable- Have a willingness to always learn and adapt

*All trainers are required to complete the certification process at the Cedar Rapids North Center prior to training a student. All materials and training are provided at no cost to selected candidates.
