What Does a LearningRx Brain Trainer Do?
Brain trainers play an important role in the lives of LearningRx clients.
At LearningRx, we offer cognitive training for a wide range of learning and thinking skills. We design a one-of-a-kind training plan for every client, with plans available for kids, teens, adults, and individuals with learning differences.
We take a one-on-one approach to cognitive training, pairing each client with a personal brain trainer who works with them to strengthen their cognitive skills through fun, challenging games and exercises.
Our brain trainers work with students of all ages, offering help in areas like reading, homework, and studying. Brain trainers also help kids and adults with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning differences.
What Are the Benefits of Becoming a Brain Trainer?
When you become a brain trainer at LearningRx, you step into a role that not only helps others improve their lives, but also brings a wide variety of benefits to your own life.
Build communication skills
No matter what your future career goals are, being able to communicate well is an important skill to hone. As a brain trainer, effective communication is key. You’ll get practice in concisely explaining concepts and giving clear directions to the clients you work with.
Learn more about strengthening your cognitive skills
As you go through our brain training certification program and work with your clients, you’ll learn how our cognitive skills affect the way we think and learn. You’ll learn how strengthening memory, logic and reasoning, attention, and processing skills improves both academic success and overall quality of life.
Helping to improve the lives of others
The most rewarding thing about working as a brain trainer is that you get to help improve the lives of your clients. You’ll watch your clients learn and grow in their abilities before your eyes, and have a front row seat to see the ways their lives are changed for the better. As a brain trainer, you’ll impact the lives of others in a big and lasting way.
What Real LearningRx Brain Trainers Have To Say
The job of a brain trainer is truly a rewarding one. But don’t take our word for it — here’s what some of our trainers have said about their jobs:
“I really enjoy working here. It’s very satisfying seeing your clients’ growth throughout the program. If you ever need help, you can always count on management to help you.” — Current trainer
“Their program is backed by a lot of evidence, they do a good job of training and educating staff, and in my experience it really seems to make a difference for most students…The lead trainers were really professional and experienced and were very supportive, checking in with me, helping out with difficult students and giving good advice.” — Former trainer
“Training students is rewarding as you see them confront their most difficult mental challenges and learn to excel. The results are life changing for the student and family.” — Former trainer
“LearningRx started as a temporary, part-time job for me. I have now been here for five years! Working one-on-one with students of all ages makes every day fun and interesting. A typical day consists of meeting with a pre-scheduled student on a specific curriculum that fits the needs of that student. The culture is relaxed while each trainer works individually with their student. The trainer’s job is to keep the student motivated, engaged, and challenged. Getting to know the students and their families and seeing firsthand what a difference our programs can make is the most enjoyable part of the job.” — Current trainer
