Reading Help in Colorado Springs
Strong reading skills can lead to a lifetime of imagination, discovery, and learning. At Learning Rx Colorado Springs, we offer reading help for all ages! Through one-on-one brain training, students can improve key skills needed for lifelong reading.
Reading relies on many complex skills at the same time. Through brain training programs, learners can target and strengthen those skills, creating a foundation for excellent reading skills. From core reading skills to reading comprehension, we have programs for both brand-new readers and those trying to improve existing abilities.
After completing a LearningRx program, students have reported improvements in reading skills by 3.5 years. Our trainers can also work with students who have specific reading challenges like dyslexia or ADHD. Our unique approach helps each student succeed on their terms.

How We Offer Reading Help
Personalized Training to Build Reading Skills
When students learn, read, and think, they draw on building-block cognitive skills like attention, memory, and processing. These skills can be trained and honed with the right exercises. It’s not too different from how personal trainers can help to target and improve key muscle groups.
For learners of all ages in Colorado Springs, we offer two programs for reading help: ReadRx® and ComprehendRx®. Each of these programs is tailored to each learner, so they can maximize their gains as they target specific skill groups.
Through ReadRx®, students work on their foundational reading skills. This can be ideal for first-time readers as well as those who struggle to read.
ComprehendRx® helps readers to target their comprehension skills. Through this program, learners can work on vocabulary, reading speed, and critical thinking. It’s the perfect fit for readers who have grasped the fundamentals and want to advance their abilities.
Brain Training or Reading Tutoring?
What’s the difference between tutoring and brain training?
Tutoring tends to focus on repetition. It gives readers more time to practice their reading and memorize spelling, relying on learners to have a strong foundation of key cognitive skills.
When students struggle with reading, it’s often because they need to strengthen these cognitive skills first. With brain training, students can target their skills and work to improve their reading skills.
