11-year-old Burnsville Girl Wins National Brain Training Contest Vivian Lenzen strengthened her brain skills at LearningRx Savage For Immediate Release– (Savage MN.)—LearningRx (www.LearningRx.com), the largest personal brain training company in the world, has announced the winner of its national brain training contest: 11-year-old Vivian Lenzen of Burnsville! Each year, LearningRx hosts a competition among its graduates across the United States to decide who experienced the greatest cognitive skills gains after completing personal brain training. Vivian’s success story, along with those of four other students, earned them a spot in the Top 5 finalists. LearningRx announced the grand prize winner at the company’s national convention on July 21. A very social kid, Vivian had daily anxiety, headaches, and stomachaches about going to school. She struggled to keep up with her peers, often seemed distracted, and needed extra help in reading and math. With older siblings, Vivian’s parents knew that as middle school approached, they needed to find outside help to make sure Vivian would be able to handle the increased workload and pressures of middle school. Vivian completed her personal brain training—including a big chunk of virtual training due to COVID-19—and has become a “completely different kid” according to her parents. She has improved so much that she will be in advanced math in 6th grade! “She still is one of the slower more thoughtful kids in class, but she isn’t scared about that anymore,” says Vivian’s mom. “Her hand will go up to ask a question in front of the whole class now, she doesn’t sit in silence lost.
