Siblings Thrive After Completing LearningRx English instructor Lindsay Mills got involved with LearningRx after working with siblings who had moved to the U.S. from Korea. She says the 6-year-old and 7-year-old were struggling in school and in need of an intervention. “The 6-year-old was told she needed a full-time aide to be able to stay in class,” says Lindsay. “And both kids were struggling with focus.” Enrolling in LearningRx After a referral from their school counselor, both children enrolled in a personal brain training program at LearningRx Costa Mesa-Irvine. Lindsay says the results were significant. “After just six months, both kids were able to work independently,” she explains. “Their self-management skills are—I can’t even put into words how much they have improved. And with emotional reasoning, both of them are able to work independently. They often do their homework for even up to half an hour without any redirections. And the 6-year-old is in a classroom that is two times as large this year and has no need for an aide.” Lindsay adds that they’re so happy about all of the great improvements that both children have received. She attributes them to their dedication to going to LearningRx and working with their personal brain trainers. The siblings, Anna and Leo, completed 120 hours of personal brain training with LearningRx. Their improvements include making more friendships and completing homework independently for longer periods of time. Most of all, they both find learning to be much easier. Leo also says that he used to “bang and scream at his friends.” He no longer does that and feels much calmer. Anna says that LearningRx has helped her become “kinder and calmer” and faster in school. She says she loves going to personal brain training at LearningRx. Anna confides that her favorite trainer, Drake, helped her along the way. We’re so proud of Leo and Anna and look forward to following their continued success!
