Here is tip #2: If your child gets stressed, take a break. If your child appears to get overly anxious, fidgety or stressed during homework that they don’t “get,” just take a break. You can always return to the task later when your child has calmed down. Chances are, returning to the task later will help them look at the assignment with a fresh perspective or at least give them a better starting point to begin to attack it from a place of calm.
