Dr. Janissa Jackson
Owner & Director
Dr. Janissa Jackson received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2005 from the University of Arkansas after completing specialty training in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Furthermore, she received additional training in the assessment and treatment of developmental concerns including autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Jackson began her practice in 2005 and has been practicing in Fort Smith since 2011. She has greatly enjoyed being a part of the professional community of the River Valley area.
Dr. Jackson has specialized in treatment as well as psychological evaluations over her years in private practice but has recently limited her practice to primarily doing testing. This decision came as a result of the great need for these types of evaluations and the long waiting lists that patients often have to endure. Diagnosis is often needed to open doors in helping patients of all ages meet their highest potential. However, she has become passionate about providing additional options for those who struggle with cognitive processing and effective learning. That is what led her to pursue opening an educational franchise. Dr. Jackson has been married for twenty-four years to her husband Justin and has two children. The family resides on a cattle ranch and she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family’s animals as well as reading and making homemade soap.

Bryana Regalado
Brain Trainer
I am a Spanish speaking brain trainer at LearningRx. After spending the past 7 years working with students, I decided to become a teacher. I am currently a senior at the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith receiving my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6 in December of 2024. I joined the team over a year ago not knowing how much of an impact this program can make on students. LearningRx has helped me grow as an individual and educator.
My favorite part of being a brain trainer is watching my student’s confidence blossom. What makes my job so rewarding is seeing my students transform into a new person. They are not the same person they first walked in.
Outside of my job, I enjoy spending time crafting handmade items and decorating. I like photography, traveling, and spending time outdoors with my small family.
Stephanie Wilson
Brain Trainer
Over the course of her adult life, she has lived in California, Colorado, Texas, and now Oklahoma. Stephanie loves to travel and counts a trip to Scotland in 2016 as her favorite travel experience.
Stephanie has held a variety of job titles as well: Teacher, Social Worker, Sylvan tutor and Director of Education, Meals on Wheels Manager, Front Desk Coordinator and Activities Director of two different Senior Activity Centers, and now Church Administrative Assistant and LearningRx Brain Trainer.
Two of Stephanie’s core values have consistently protected against chaos: The love of learning and the love of people. Every new residence, every travel opportunity, and every job carried with it these values. The ability to combine both values as a Brain Trainer is such a blessing.

I have enjoyed working with LearningRx very much! I am a brain trainer, and I enjoy helping kids learn and, hopefully, help them enjoy school more. Watching them grow and expand their minds is a great opportunity to have.
I graduated with an associate’s degree in Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones) technology/engineering. I also have been a ballet dancer for 14 years now, training with Western Arkansas Ballet. I also enjoy swimming, exercise, art, and mechanics.
Abbey Jenkins
Brain Trainer
I have a heart for those with special needs, so when I heard about the opportunity to work at LearningRx, I was all in. I love working here because it is more than a job. We are making a difference in people’s lives. To make that difference, we work together like one family. I love the environment in the center. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with Special Education integrated into my degree from Harding University. I also just started working towards a Masters in Special Education. I work as a preschool teacher in the Van Buren School District full time. In my down time, I enjoy crocheting stuffed animals and reading.
