We offer a wide range of programs for all ages–kids, teens, and adults- led by our brain trainers. Using dynamic brain games, we help students exert cognitive skills like attention, visual processing, and logic. When students improve these skills, they can improve cognitive performance, too.

The one-on-one approach we take is perfect for students who crave a challenge, feel apprehensive about school, or face cognitive challenges like ADHD. Our fun, supportive environment makes it easier to get energized about learning again!

How Our Brain Training Center Works

To help you or your child strengthen cognitive skills, we’ll design a one-of-a-kind training plan, and we’ll target cognitive skills in one-on-one training sessions. Here’s a closer look at how our training methods work, plus how they differ from other solutions — like tutoring.

Assessment & Personalized Plan

At LearningRx San Antonio Northwest, we use a unique approach for every student. Our program begins by evaluating each learner’s cognitive profile with a Brain Skills Assessment. 

This Assessment forms the basis for a learner’s training program. Programs can last up to six months, but always vary based on students’ needs. We help learners build on cognitive strengths and excel on their terms.

One-on-One Training Sessions

Brain training is most effective when it’s fun, challenging, and one-on-one. Our brain trainers are integral to this. 

We use a targeted regimen of one-on-one games and exercises for each student. These mental workouts engage the brain and sharpen fundamental cognitive skills. As students advance, they can increase their overall cognitive capacities.  

Direct feedback and encouragement help learners feel confident as they progress through sessions. With one-on-one training, students of all ages can embrace cognitive challenges and discover new strengths in learning.

Brain Training or Tutoring?

When we learn, there are two factors at work: new, compelling information, and the brain skills needed to absorb this information. At LearningRx San Antonio Northwest, we help to nurture those brain skills. In doing so, we can create a foundation for math skills, study skills, and reading skills.

While tutoring can teach classroom material, we focus on improving the learning skills used in the classroom and beyond.
