Transform reading struggles into reading strengths! At LearningRx Tysons, our programs offer one-on-one reading help to learners of all ages. Anyone can become a confident reader with dedicated support and training.
Strong reading skills can open new doors when it comes to learning and imagination. For budding readers, our programs can lay the foundation for core reading skills. For those who want to enhance their reading abilities, we can target reading speed, processing, and critical thinking.
Our trainers can also work one-on-one with learners who have dyslexia, or those who struggle with reading comprehension. Through personalized skill-building and dynamic exercises, clients can become more confident in reading and learning! For former students, our programs have improved reading skills by 3.5 years compared to their peers.

How We Help with Reading
Personalized Training to Build Reading Skills
When we read, we draw on all kinds of complex skills. These distinct skills can each be targeted and honed. Just like our physical abilities can improve through personal training, our cognitive abilities can develop with brain training.
At LearningRx Tysons, we offer dedicated, one-on-one training for learners who need reading help. Clients undergo a Brain Skills Assessment to measure strengths and skill-building opportunities. We use that information to map out a unique training plan for each person.
ReadRx® can benefit aspiring readers or those who struggle with core reading skills. This program focuses on the fundamentals, using techniques to teach building-block reading and spelling skills.
ComprehendRx® can target reading comprehension, critical thinking, and reading speed. It’s ideal for learners who know the fundamentals and want to become stronger readers.
Through dedicated cognitive training, we help learners of all ages unlock new abilities and strengths.
Brain Training or Reading Tutoring?
When you’re looking for reading help, how do you choose between tutoring and brain training?
Tutoring focuses on repetition and memorization. It relies on learners already having fundamental cognitive skills for learning and processing.
Brain training focuses on building that crucial foundation of skills. We make it easier for clients to become independent thinkers, strong learners, and confident readers.
