Are you looking for a fun and educational Summer activity in Chattanooga? LearningRx is proud to launch its exciting #ReadAndChill Summer Reading Bingo Challenge once again—a literacy campaign designed to keep children and adults reading, learning, and winning all summer long!
This unique summer reading program is built to boost reading comprehension, improve literacy skills, and get kids excited about books instead of screens. 📖✨
🧊 What is the #ReadAndChill Summer Reading Bingo?
#ReadAndChill is a Chattanooga summer reading program designed for all ages. We encourage participants to complete fun and engaging reading challenges arranged on a Bingo card, come to LearningRx to mark off squares to complete a line of Bingo, and become eligible to win exciting prizes—culminating in a Grand Prize Giveaway! There will be prizes for each line of Bingo from local businesses participating like Carraba’s. Some Grand Prize contributors will include Zen Nail Spa and Creative Discovery Museum & more!
This initiative encourages kids to pick up a book more often than a phone, tablet, game controller, or TV remote. It’s a fun and meaningful way to avoid the summer learning slide while building lifelong literacy habits.
📆 Key Dates for the LearningRx Summer Reading Challenge
Make sure you mark your calendars with these important dates:
- May 2 – Deadline for local businesses to register as sponsors
- May 5 – Deadline to submit business logos or graphics
- May 26 – 🚀 Official Launch Day of the #ReadAndChill Reading Bingo Challenge
- June 27 – Summer Reading Kickoff Party Luau 1-7 pm
- August 5 – Last day for participants to enter the Grand Prize Giveaway
