Our brains are capable of amazing transformation. At LearningRx Woodbury, we help you transform your cognitive skills with one-on-one brain training. Through targeted activities, you can strengthen the way you think, learn, and remember.

Our one-on-one brain trainers lead each learner through a regimen of brain games and exercises. These workouts target concrete skills like working memory, attention, and processing speed. As learners apply and hone these skills, they can strengthen their overall cognitive potential.

We offer an intense and fun learning environment for all students. For kids, teens, and adults, it’s never too early or late to improve cognitive skills!

How Our Brain Training Center Works

To help you or your child strengthen cognitive skills, we’ll design a one-of-a-kind training plan, and we’ll target cognitive skills in one-on-one training sessions. Here’s a closer look at how our training methods work, plus how they differ from other solutions — like tutoring.

Assessment & Personalized Plan

Backed by over three decades of established cognitive research, we take a different approach with every client. Starting with a Brain Skills Assessment, we test learners on skills, strengths, and areas that could benefit from training.  

We then tailor each training program with these results in mind. Programs can last up to six months, working towards targeted outcomes and skill-building for each learner.

One-on-One Training Sessions

Students thrive when learning is fun, challenging, and engaging. At LearningRx Woodbury, our one-on-one approach keeps each session focused and exciting. It’s easier for students to supercharge their brain skills in this dynamic environment. 

Each training program is targeted towards a client’s learning style and the cognitive skills they wish to improve. We can support learners with cognitive challenges like ADHD or dyslexia, too. 

Sessions are loaded with games and drills. As learners work through these mental activities, they can hone core brain skills like logic/reasoning, visual processing, and attention. 

Brain Training or Tutoring?

Tutoring can be helpful when students fall behind, or need a refresher on course material. But it’s not designed to transform the overall cognitive skills needed to think and learn.
